With recent discussions that have been focused on the COVID-19 virus. Rejuvenate Salon & Spa wants to let you know what we are doing to keep our clients and staff safe.
Rejuvenate Salon & Spa is looking to the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) for updates on how individuals should best respond to the coronavirus situation. Everyone should use their best independent judgment about how to respond to the situation, and people at high risk need to consider the best medical guidance. Rejuvenate Salon & Spa has posted CDC information about the virus here. Consider also the following information from the CDC:
• Individuals and communities should familiarize themselves with recommendations to protect themselves and their communities from getting and spreading respiratory illnesses like COVID-19.
• Older people and people with severe chronic conditions should a take special precautions because they are at higher risk of developing a serious COVID-19 illness.
If you have an appointment and are experiencing any symptoms, we ask that you refrain from having a massage or coming into the salon until you are better. Please call us at 319-988-0059 and reschedule your appointment for a 2-3 weeks out to allow yourself time to get well. If you are Ill the day of your appointment and come into Rejuvenate salon & spa. We will request you to reschedule your appointment when you are feeling better. Wellness is our first concern. (We will be suspending our cancellation policy while this outbreak is going on). However, you still need to let us know if you are ill and not coming.
We are wanting to assure you we are disinfecting after every person that comes into Rejuvenate and we will be doing extra precautions as well to make sure our clients and staff are well during this stressful time.
If our staff becomes ill we will also contact you as soon as possible and request to reschedule your appointment at a later date until we are well.
Also to keep our staff and clients safe, if you have traveled outside the United States within the last two weeks and/or are showing any signs of illness, we ask that you call us and reschedule your appointment 14-21 days after your return. Rejuvenate Salon & Spa wants to make sure that all of our clients and staff are safe.
Thank you for understanding and trusting us with your wellness care. We have openings available and would be happy to help you out during this stressful time. As regular massages can significantly reduce stress and anxiety as we venture through this process in the next few weeks. The anxiety-reducing and mood enhancing benefits of massage are changes in electroencephalogram activity, decreased levels of cortisol and increased activity of the parasympathetic nervous system, which acts automatically to calm the body and brain during stress.
As always we are so grateful to have such wonderful clients and want to THANK each and everyone of you for helping us move forward as we go through the next several weeks together we can beat this virus. As we are a small controlled business that allows us to be able to sanitize and take extra precautions to keep everyone Healthy, Happy and Stress Free during this time of need in our community.
